Top Shop 2008 was amazing but It snowed all weekend. Kelly and I fought through the bitter cold giving away free hot chocolate to “WARM YOUR BONES” all weekend. Reigning champs 3rd lair fought hard but it was BONES WHEEL AM Chaz Oriz’s flawless run that put Warp skatepark on Top for the battle of shop supremacy! BONES WHEEL Am Collin Hale also had a flawless run and took top individual score honors for the weekend and a cool $250. Chaz Ortiz placed second overall giving BONES WHEELS a one two punch with First and Second places in individual scores.

BONES WHEELS best trick-trick contest was off the hook and everyone involved said it was the most amazing format they had ever witnessed. Local boy CJ Tambornino took top honors and $500 cash while BONES AM Cody Davis placed second with amazing technical wizardry and a cool $200. All in all BONES WHEELS gave away $1000.

Thanks to Mark Muller and 3rd Lair skatepark for an amazing weekend of fun. Highlights include the Party Bus, Chug and Jump contest, two bands and 7 kegs of beer. Lot of spectators, 41 shops and over 200 entries made for a fun filled weekend. Other notable companies that attended were Tod Swank with Tum Yeto, Jim Thiebaud with Deluxe, Chris with Dwindle, The Skateboard Mag, Element, Globe, Osiris, NHS, Street Corner Dist. and several other smaller companies.
